The founding meeting of the first Organic Fruit Producers marketing cooperative

On 18.02.2017 the first Organic Fruit Producers Marketing Cooperative had its founding meeting in Shenik village. The cooperative is organised within OASI supported  "Expansion of Organic Fruit Production Through Upgrading the Organic Orchard Management and Streamlining Horticulturist Farmers into Organic Agriculture Cooperative" project. To date 17 farmers having 1-5 hectares of orchards joined the first organic fruit producers cooperative. The utmost and the main condition for membership in Organic Fruit Producers marketing cooperative is involvement in certified organic production.
