Extension courses for agronomists from Vardenis and Sisian sub-regions

On 6-9 June, within the framework of “Integrated Support for Sustainable Economic Development in Rural Mountainous Areas of Armenia” project extension courses took place in Yeghegnadzor for groups of agronomists representing 6 cooperatives of Vardenis and Sisian sub-regions. These 4-days courses covered a whole range of topics on various high value crops cultivation, plant protection and agricultural marketing and farm management.  Each day after the classroom courses the participants would pay visits to different horticultural farms, fruit tree nursery and processing companies located in Vayots Dzor province. All 8 participant agronomists received complete package of printed materials on the delivered topics.
