Chene France for the Artsakhian families of Zorakan
In 2024, with the financial support of the Chene France, we implemented the “Support to Families Displaced from Artsakh” project in the Zorakan settlement of the Noyemberyan consolidated community of Tavush Marz. Within the framework of the project, we built five greenhouses to create a means of livelihood for needy families displaced from Artsakh.
After completing the construction of the greenhouses, we also provided all beneficiary families with the necessary agricultural tools and seeds and seedlings of various plants to start the operation of the greenhouses. Our agronomists conducted a series of training courses for Artsakh families and transferred the necessary knowledge about the characteristics of each cultivated crop, its cultivation and diseases.
As part of their visit to Armenia in May 2025, the delegation of Chene France also visited Zorakan, where the family of Grisha Grigoryan, consisting of seven people, displaced from the village of Gishi in the Martuni region of Artsakh, had already received the first harvest. The members of the delegation gladly became the first buyers of this harvest.
