The park of Komitas turned into an organic orchard for one day

On 27 April 2019, the "Prunus Armeniaca" Cultural Foundation organized an Organic Orchard event at Komitas Park.The main goal of Oshin Yeghiazaryants, the organizer of the event was to give opportunity for Yerevan people to test organic juice, greens, and dried fruits. The children also enjoyed an original fairy entertainment: The park was decorated with heroes of fairy tales made from straw. They had an opportunity to join the groups and together with sculptor Mels to prepare straw toys.Shen NGO and Organic Fruit Producers Consumer Cooperative presented their production during the event. People not only enjoyed delicious organic stuff but also provided with information leaflets about organic agricultural skills, beekeeping, biohumus production, and organic pesticides.
