Irrigation Network Construction in Debedavan
The proposed project aims to address the critical need for the improvement of the irrigation system in Debedavan village, located in the Tavush marz of Armenia. Currently, the village faces challenges in cultivating high-value crops due to insufficient irrigation water. The project, to be implemented in collaboration with the Tavush Water Users Association, aims to construct a 500-meter length section of pipeline and to provide irrigation to 40 households and irrigate 20 hectares of land, fostering increased agricultural productivity and generating additional income for the community.
Joint implementation with the Tavush Water Users Association. Tavush WUA will provide building materials, construction equipment and machinery, and will partially implement construction works of the project.
The construction of the new pipeline and improvement of the irrigation system in Debedavan village will not only address the current challenges but also contribute to the long-term economic development and sustainability of the community. The collaboration with the Tavush Water Users Association enhances the project's feasibility and impact.
As a result of the successful implementation of this vital initiative, the residents of Debedavan village will benefit, contributing to the overall development of the region.
