Renovation of Noyemberyan Children's Library
As a result of the implementation of the project, the children and teenagers of Noyemberyan will have the opportunity to attend and use the library under proper conditions. And the library's 5,000 volumes of literature will be saved from destruction. The library will also be used to host literary events and activities for children.
Noyemberyan city is the center of Noyemberyan consolidated community of Tavush marz. The population is about 6000 people from 1570 families.
Noyemberyan has primary and high schools, a medical center, a cultural center, a community center, a music school, an art school, a sports school, a general and a children's libraries, two kindergartens and a church.
Noyemberyan Children's Library is located on the 1st floor of the fine arts school building. It has two employees, about 5,000 pieces of literature and serves more than 700 students mainly from two schools in Noyemberyan.
The library occupies an area of about 150 square meters. The area is suitable for activities, though it is in a poor condition and needs a renovation. In the frames of the project a change the windows and doors, repair of the bathroom, bookcases and renovation of the hall will be carried out.
