Practical training on valuable crop cultivation techniques and peculiarities

On May 23 and 29 "Integrated Support for Sustainable Economic Development in Rural Mountainous Areas of Armenia" project conducted a practical training on Cultivation Techniques and Peculiarities of the Most Valuable Cultivars Suitable for That Geographic Zone for beneficiary communities of Shaki, Shaghat, Angeghakot, Areguni, Pambak and Geghamasar in Syunik and Vardenis provinces. 27 members participated in the seminar. At the end of the workshop, each cooperative was provided with 100 seedlings of mint (grown in the Institute of Problems of Hydroponics). Cultivation of this variety of mint will allow to expand the list of plants offered by the cooperative, which will result in additional income.
