Training and discussion in Balak
On May 16, in the Balak settlement of Syunik Marz, we organized another training discussion for 20 members of the "Balak Community Pasture Users Association" cooperative within the framework of the "Fodder production demo village - reactivation of non-cultivated arable lands" project financed by GIZ. This time, the training topic was "Using modern means of extra-root nutrition and weed control measures in grain and fodder crops."
At the beginning of the training, our specialists presented to the members of the cooperative the modern means of extra-root fertilization used in the sowing of grain and fodder crops, the features of their application, the periods, and the dosages. Then, the cooperative members were introduced to the measures of weed control in grain crops and the types of pesticides used.
We conducted the second part of the training in the demonstration fields. Here, the participants had the opportunity to see the order of the work being performed on the spot. At the end of the training, all participants received the necessary information materials.
