Visit to a cannery and a small fruit drying facility

On 15.08.2017 the project "Improvement of the Livelihood of Rural Households in Vayots Dzor and Gegharkunik Provinces Through Development of Horticulture" funded by HEKS-EPER has organised a study visit for its 14 beneficiary farmers to Armavir Province. The aim was to get acquainted with different fruit and vegetable processing technologies at Proshyan Cannery (Armavir village) and a small fruit drying facility in Hatsik village. Except the introduction to the basics of technological processes the project farmers got a preliminary agreement with the procurement officer of Proshyan Cannery on possible cooperation with the cannery.
