Sarnaghbyur kindergarten

Sarnaghbyur settlement of Ani consolidated community stands out for the diligence and unity of its residents, active young people, as well as their great desire to develop their village. Sarnaghbyur Kindergarten has 92 students who respectively attend four age groups. According to the director, Esther Arshakyan, the number of students and groups tends to increase, considering the number of births in the community.

Our cooperation with the kindergarten began in 2022 when with the sponsorship of the Yalkezian Foundation and the co-financing of Ani consolidated community, it was possible to renovate two classrooms, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the gymnasium of the kindergarten. With the support of the foundation, we renovated a total of 340 m² of the area of this typical kindergarten building.

Getk school gymnasium

The gymnasium of the Getk secondary school after Major-General A. T. Harutyunyan was renovated and re-equipped. Implementing this important project became possible again with the Yalkezian Foundation's sponsorship and the Akhuryan consolidated community's co-financing. The importance lies in the fact that the school is the only educational center in the Getk settlement, where a preschool class opened recently.

The children's smiles and warm welcome left no doubt that the bright and comfortable gym would become an attractive place for physical education classes and extracurricular activities. The proof was the unplanned chess competition between Joe Yalkezian and the school students during the visit. The competitive spirit was about to change the agenda of the visit.
