Drinking Water to Lusakunk

The settlement of Vardenis consolidated community of Gegharkunik marz, which are located at an altitude of 1700-2900m above sea level, have always been captivating people with their flowery and watery fields, the mountains surrounding the settlements and unique landscapes, the Sevan lake encapsulating the blue sky.

Lusakunk village is one of those settlements, located 76 km southeast of Gavar, 1940 m above sea level, and 165 km west of Yerevan.

"Back to Nature" Summer Camp

The summer camp has positive impact on the life of Yeghnajur village where the camp is located. This project is being implemented back from 1996 aiming at entertaining the kids from vulnerable families of Shirak Marz during their summer vacations. The name of the summer camp is "Back to the Nature", as one of the important objectives of the project is environmental education and basics of agriculture among the urban youth.

Kickboxing Ring for Davit Bek School

The gym of the bordering Davit Bek school was renovated and furnished by the "Shen" NGO with the support of the Orange Foundation back in 2011. Although the physical culture classes of the school's students have been held here for about thirteen years, the school's staff has managed to keep the hall and all the equipment in excellent condition. Moreover, the school was renovated and furnished with new equipment throughout these years.

Drinking water to Norakert

Norakert settlement of Vardenis enlarged community is about 7-8 km northwest of Vardenis city, about 4 km from the eastern shore of Lake Sevan. The village was founded in 1927, the founders were the Armenians who emigrated in 1915 from Segh village, Khizan province, Bitlisi vilayet.

Renovation of Metsavan kindergarten

Metsavan settlement is located in Tashir consolidated community, 62 km from the regional center. The number of household in the settlement is 1460, and the total population is 5654. After September 2023, the population increased by another 380 people who were forcibly displaced from Artsakh.

"World of Colors" kindergarten operates in Metsavan attended by 32 children. Yet 30 children from Metsavan and 18 children from 80 forcibly displaced families are waiting for their turn to attend the kindergarten.
